Behind Pink Teen is a wife and a mother of two little boys, trying to build something of her own while her husband is thousands of kilometres away in the UK, working hard to provide for our family.
Being apart is not easy. My husband shouldn't have to miss bedtime, everyday moments, cuddles and the little things that you can never get back, just because we are trying to make a living. And that's one of the biggest reasons I started Pink Teen.
I want to build this into something that can bring my husband home. I want us to be able to build a life where my husband doesn't have to work overseas just so we can make ends meet. I want my boys to have their dad home.
I want my husband and I to be able to build our future together, not from opposite sides of the world. So I took the last of my savings and put it into this dream. Was it scary? Absolutely. But sometimes you have to take that first step before you know where the road will lead. Pink Teen is my way of trying. Trying to build something.
Trying to create a future. Trying to give my family the opportunity to be together again.
